JUST ADD INK #570 - SNOWFLAKES WISHES

Hello, it has been a while since I have been on here, but when I saw this week’s colour challenge from the girls at JUST ADD INK. I had to sit down and create something. Especially after being challenged by my good friend Chloe Evans….why??
Because she knew that I love blues and greens. Stampin’ Up has a great selection of blues and greens in their colour range.

Here is my challenge card. I went for a Christmas card, just 15 weeks away.
I used Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Basic white and Silver foil cardstock strips for my panel and cut it with the stitched rectangle die, which is probably my most used die. I then used the snowflake stencil from the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks and sponged Coastal Cabana ink and then Nuvo Glimmer paste. The sentiments and inside stamp are from the Snowflake wishes stamp set. To finish things off I embossed the envelope flap with the retired Snowflakes embossing folder. This card looks beautiful and sparkly in real life, but was really hard to photograph. I really need to pick up my photography game….but that is a challenge for another time.

Happy crafting peeps. Xx

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - well at least at Stampin' Up

The new Stampin' Up Christmas Catalogue has been released and I have just received my first order.
There are so many beautiful things it was hard to control myself.
Yesterday afternoon I went to my friend Chloe's house and we had some fun creating with the Santa's Sleigh Bundle. Another demonstrator Kathy Wayson had posted a photo of the stamp set using a double Z fold card which looked great and it sparked the same idea for Chloe and I to do the same thing but with a night sky. I had spent quite a bit of time preparing my background which I CASEd from Anna Smith at Scrapping Stampin and Stuff and the Z fold strip to match and getting very inky fingers in the process. Chloe then had the absolutely brilliant idea of using window sheets for the Z fold. So here is the finished product. It will be a very special card for someone this Christmas.

Send me a message or an email if you would like a copy of the new catalogue, so you can get started early this year. You can order from the 1st of September.

Look out for many more Christmas cards over the next few months.

Enjoy your weekend. x

2016/2017 Annual Catalogue out now

The beautiful new annual Stampin' Up Catalogue is out now and you can email me to get your copy, which is packed full of new product and lovely projects.
I ordered the swirly bird bundle on page 152
and had so much fun creating this weekend with it. There are countless possibilities.  Here are just a few of my projects.
I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) this card from a very talented demonstrator Teneale Williams (http://tenealewilliams.com.au/2016/05/gdp036/) and then made a few in different colours for different occasions. I think I like the pink baby card the best, how about you?
I CASEd this card from Ilina Crouse (https://ilinacrouse.blogspot.com.au/search?updated-max=2016-06-03T08:00:00-04:00&max-results=10&start=33&by-date=false). Just love the rambling roses.
Finally, I made this card for a friend of my husband's who just got a new boat. I also made this made these T-shirts, using heat tranfer Vinyl and my KNKMaxx electronic cutter. I love how I can personalise gifts.

Leave me a comment if you have any questions, or if you like my projects.

If you would like to order send me an email, or shop on-line with me, just put in my name as your demonstrator.

Well, that's it from me today. I hope you have all had some time to craft.

The bicycle was cut on my KNK Maxx electronic cutter. The DSP is Typeset. The sentiments is from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the banner was punch from the triple banner punch.

There a loads of other you tube videos on the bags, so have a look and choose one you like.
I filled the bag with 6 cards. This is a lovely gift idea that you can make for your friends and family.

One sheet wonder technique. Randomly stamp a single image all over your card stock and you have created your own DSP, that perfectly coordinates with your planned project.

This card used the new Happy Birthday Everyone Hostess Stamp Set.

Lego Card

Hi Girls,
It was my Nephew's birthday this week and we gave him some Lego, so it was a no brainer that I would need a Lego card to go with his gift. I used a hole punch for the circles and double layered them added some white gel pen to make them 'pop'
